Admissions Success Starts With You

About Tina Pratt Consulting

I am an experienced educational consultant who possesses a Certificate in College Counseling with distinction from UCLA. I have worked in the field of education and child counseling for most of my adult life. I began my interest in Educational Consulting by mentoring local high school students with the college application process, initially with a focus on the college essays. I enjoyed the process so much I decided to receive formal training in college counseling. I am also a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and the Western Association of College Admissions Counseling. Both organizations holds its members to the highest ethical and best practice standards as well as provide ongoing professional development. I currently serve on the IECA Outreach Committee, encouraging other IECs to join our professional group and promote best practices in our field. I counsel students in 8-12th grade and help them plan out their journey towards higher education after high school graduation. For the past 6 years, with my guidance, students have successfully navigated the college admissions landscape.

Based on the student’s current educational path and unique abilities, students achieve their educational goals and find the right university fit. I am very familiar with the pressures students and their families can experience and my goal is to reduce the stress of the college application journey and make it more enjoyable.

“College is a singular opportunity to rummage through and luxuriate in ideas, to give your brain a vigorous workout and your soul a thorough investigation, to realize how very large the world is and to contemplate your desired place in it.”
